The sole mission and charitable purpose of Open Door Family Services is to obtain permanency for children in Michigan through the services we provide including foster care, pregnancy counseling and adoption.  We are licensed by the state of Michigan as a child placing agency and recognized by United States Internal Revenue Service as a public charity under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  As such we are eligible to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts that further our charitable mission.

Our dedicated staff have over twenty years experience in child welfare services and are passionate about the continued joining of children and families.
